Josey and Stacey have one of those meant-to-be kind of loves. In fact, Josey's best friend knew the moment she met Stacey that he would marry Josey one day. Josey certainly didn't realize that, because it took Stacey about four years of pursuing her for Josey to give in!

After I met Josey and Stacey in the fall, we braved extreme cold in the winter for their engagement session, so it was fitting that their wedding day was one of the hottest days of 2015 yet! Josey was sure to incorporate so many special details into their wedding day. Their Gatsby themed wedding was planned for May 8 - the day Stacey's grandparents were married 67 years ago! She was also sure to include special memories of her father, who recently passed away.

I was fortunate enough to spend some extra time with Josey and Stacey before their wedding, and what a great it was to witness their love firsthand. They're crazy about one another! It was an absolute joy to spend their wedding day with them, their friends and their family, and to Josey and Stacey - CONGRATULATIONS! Now go throw some glitter, make it rain!

Let the adventure begin...

The McMenamins Grand Lodge has to be one of the most perfect venues for a Gatsby wedding. Just look at that fringe lamp!

The groom and his groomsmen had priorities on his wedding day. While the bride and her bridesmaids began prepping, the boys headed off for some disc golf, followed by some quality time in the pool!

Gastby game strong.

Josey didn't have to walk down the aisle without her father - she carried her memories of him in her heart, and a picture of the two of them with the words "You are always in my heart" pinned to her bouquet.
